These earrings, named "Highway" are crafted from precious metal clay. Precious metal clay, once worked, shaped, and fired, turns to solid fine silver which is 99.9% pure silver (as opposed to sterling silver which is 92.5% silver). The recessed portion of the earrings is coated in 22kt gold which was fired onto the silver so that the two became bonded. These are ball-style, sterling silver post earrings and measure almost 1" by 1" and dangle 1 1/8" from the earring post.
