"Table Mountain," the first installment of a four-piece series of serigraphs celebrating the seasons of the year in Chico. I am proud to be able to create these new pieces of my beloved hometown, and hope I do it justice. This piece is a nine-color print and required over 2,500 hand-pulled color impressions to complete. It includes one metallic ink, which you can see in the petals of the white popcorn flower. The other wildflowers I chose to use in this print are the lavender colored Ithuriel's Spear and the orange Fryingpans (relatives of the California Poppy). All of these flowers are common on Table Mountain and are one of the best parts of Spring in Northern California. ~ Jake
