Throughout my life, I have been inspired and sustained by the natural world and have spent much of my time outside. Whether it's a bike ride in the countryside, or a week-long backpacking trip in the High Sierras, I am renewed and invigorated by being in and moving through landscape. It is this sense of renewal that I seek to share with others.
The rather caustic technical aspects involved in the aquatint method of printmaking result in few artists willing to work in the medium, but the end product is a unique amalgamation of photo-realism and hand-drawn etching.
