Weidel is an artist inspired by nature. As an avid fly-fisher, she strays from the beaten path quite a bit. Serene mountain landscapes, beautiful lakes and stormy clouds are the inspiration behind her acrylic and oil paintings. She is a plein-air artist which means that she often paints on-site. Her style is defined by soft, fluid brush strokes and semi-impressionistic representations of local scenery.
