Art by Larry Leigh
Chico’s beloved landscape photographer Larry Leigh has a new body of work and Chico Paper Company wants to celebrate!
Join us 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27 at Chico Paper Company, 345 Broadway, as we toast Leigh’s new images with refreshments and an artist talk.
The retired UPS driver turned professional photographer prints breath-taking scenic images onto aluminum. The developing process of Leigh’s metal-infused prints creates a very striking final product.
Five new metal-infused images depict stunning Chico scenes. From moody, storm-riddled skies over Bidwell Park to cascading waters of Burney Falls -- Leigh’s lens and artistic eye capture Northern California’s gems with a luminous nature.
"Although I'm still roaming with my camera all over California and the West, lately I've had a renewed focus on the beautiful landscapes in our own area,” Leigh said. “I feel the new releases begin to represent that well. I am also enjoying seeing the new work framed. The metal prints already 'pop,' and the frames take it to a whole new level."
Leigh’s latest limited-edition photographs can be found in various sizes, suited for anyone’s space.
